The Texas A&M - Kingsville Department of Psychology invites applications for an assistant professor in health psychology, beginning Fall 2025. The in-person appointment is for the RELLIS campus, near Texas A&M University - College Station.

This appointment is a tenure-track position that also requires a research agenda in addition to a teaching appointment. Area of research concentration/expertise is open. The RELLIS campus is home to a variety industry and research partners conducive to human factors research. Salary is competitive and will be commensurate with experience.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in psychology, but ABDs completing this academic year will be considered. Successful candidates should be committed to undergraduate teaching, service, and research. Teaching assignments may include a variety of courses across the curriculum such as health psychology, statistics, cognition, and experimental psychology. There may be an opportunity to assist with online graduate courses offered at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
